Hour of Code is coming!

Seeking Volunteers December 8-12

The Hour of Code introduces every student in grades 2-8 to computer programming through a fun, self-guided tutorial. We need volunteers to answer questions while the children participate. We anticipate an hour or two of preparation, and one hour of classroom time for each class you can help. No computer programming experience is needed (but if you know some coders, please encourage them to come and share their experience!).  Please join us to get volunteer hours and have fun!

Sign up online to volunteer at NSM and visit the Hour of Code website for a preview.  For more information please contact the NSM Tech Committee.

Mixed Bag

Your children should have brought home a catalog for mixed bag last week. These are fantastic bags that are made of recycled material and come in many styles and sizes. They make great gifts for the holidays! The best part is that NSM makes 50% for every bag sold. That's one of the best returns for a fundraiser! Make sure to return your order forms by November 26th if you would like to receive in time for the holidays. Drop it office to Carol in the office or to your child's teacher.
