We are part of the San Mateo-Foster City School District and a member of the American Montessori Society. As a public magnet school, we offer an alternative curriculum designed to meet all California state educational standards.

Joint North Shoreview PTA - Parkside MPC Board Meeting
Tuesday, June 2, NSM Gym
Three of the Montessori Working Groups will present their ideas and alternatives to a special joint board meeting of the North Shoreview PTA and Parkside Montessori Parents Committee. All members of the Montessori community are invited to help shape how events and extracurricular activities, fundraising, and parent organizations will be organized to support the two Montessori campuses.

Welcome Incoming Kindergarteners!
Orientation at NSM, Friday, May 29, 1:30-2:30
Kindergarteners arriving in Fall 2015 and their parents are invited for an orientation at NSM. Students will visit the Kindergarten classrooms while parents meet in the gym for questions and answers. Please contact the school office at 312-7588 for more information.
Middle School Arts Showcase
Friday evening, May 29, 6pm (performers should arrive at 5pm)
NSM middle schoolers will present works from their arts explorations including drama, dance, chorus, instrumental music, and visual arts.

We are rapidly approaching the end of the school year and the administration wants us to issue the following reminder: Wednesday, June 10 is NOT a minimum day. Dismissal will be at 2:35 for Grades 1-3 and 3:00 for Grades 4-8. Thursday, June 11th is the last day of school and dismissal is at 12:20.
